This is the entrance to the rectory, where the Padres live and the volunteers eat all our meals.  The building is over 100 years old, and inhabited by all sorts of critters.  The parish is fundraising to build a new rectory- the last time the bishop was here, he laid down the law and told the priests that they had to build a new one.  Fr Dan thinks that if all the volunteers stood in the kitchen and jumped, the building would come down anyways.

Hi Cat, thank you for the christmas card! I'm working on an e-mail for you, but s it's the end of semester I have some difficulties ;)
Anyway, I'm trying to be up to date with your blog and somehow in touch.
Great pictures with the umbrellas!
Don't jump in the kitchen then ;)
All the best,
Zuzanna (Cologne 2005)

that picture's awesome. Honestly, I'm amazed that rectory survives every pizza night. Where are pictures of you doing the "got a new heart" dance I've heard about. Facebook is awesome. Join.
